Starfield_ Battlefield 6 and Final Fantasy XIV_ Endwalker _ This Week In Videogames - Part 2

c'mon Battlefield Six, it's coming your way Battle Boys is one thing the official Battlefield account probably didn't tweet this week is that the next entry in the Battlefield franchise will be revealed sometime in June, no specific date but it will follow Comments from EA CEO and Handsome Jack cosplayer Andrew Wilson saying Battlefield is a real next gen game that everyone was like: Whoa guess it's not coming to PS4 and Xbox One then don't worry, turns out turning out not to be a true next gen game is a [ __ ] marketing term and the game will still come to last gen consoles. I can't believe Andrew Wilson would fool us like that. I mean, if you can't trust EA's CEO, who can you trust? I'll Tell You Who You Can Trust Bad press and a stack of high-profile exits Stadia boss honchos went on a charm offensive to try and convince the world that Stadia isn't dead, but to quote Stadia is alive and well, says developer marketing director nate Ahern, I say to all unbelievers to watch how we continue to put our words into action. Yes that is exactly what we do and that is why we all laugh but please keep doing these interviews A good headline I should ignore so what was announced or postponed this week in case you missed it Square Enix held their Final Fantasy 14 Digital Fan Fest this week, revealing a ton of information about the future of the Final Fantasy XIV franchise First up, we have a release date for the PS5 version of the game, which will be out on April 25th .May, which is next week. It's a free upgrade if you already own it on PS4. This is awesome, we also checked out the new class called The reaper which is basically like the grim reaper being a World of Warcraft villain and if you want a better look at the character in action you can watch this footage of game director yoshi p cosplaying as a new class on stage and finally looking good my husband and most i important that we have a release date for the end walker expansion. It's coming out on November 23rd on all platforms, which is great as most of the year's big games have been released by then, meaning I can spend all of December playing Final Fantasy, it's going to be a great one

Last month if you are a fan of Ghost Runner, parkour game Cyberpunk meets Mirror's Edge, then the developers have confirmed good news that a sequel is in development for next-gen platforms and PC. The news comes after publisher 505 bought the franchise so no real surprises a sequel is coming but we have confirmation no release date don't expect it until 2023 maybe that sounds kinda right galactic civilizations 4 has been announced i won't pretend to know anything about this franchise then it's a space strategy game where you do space strategy stuff and soon there will be four of them and it's coming sometime no date you've gotten through both Knee Automata and the recently remastered Near Replicant, then good news is that Moreni is on the way in the form of a mobile game called Near Reincarnation. The game has been available in Japan for a long time, but the English translation was recently completed and just this week Square Enix released a trailer praising it. You can pre-register for it on the Android and Apple stores so you'll know when it goes live, which should be pretty soon given that the hype cycle for mobile games is usually a lot shorter than for premium stuff, so last week came the Splice season of Destiny on and it was a mixed bag, after players got over the server issues on day one they found a season full of new laws, a nice new activity and loads of loot to collect, they also found the new transmog -System that when you put the brightest minds of our generation in a room and supercharge them with the combined computing power of all the technologies on planet Earth, you still couldn't come up with a worse system than Bungie came up with here to one To transmog gear set in this cursed game it takes 25 hours 25 hours you could finish god of war in the time it takes to t ransmog You get a gear set in Destiny 2, or of course you could just hurl Bungie a lazy 10. I'm sure they'd prefer players to be legitimately angry and Bungie to pretend to be surprised by this so they can inevitably go back to something that's only slightly less shitty so gullible jerks can see like, bungie was listening , good fellow, no, it's so annoying

I won't be reviewing Seeds of the Splasher until it's over but transmog and stasis and pvp aside so far it's good I like it I recommend it but my god the transmond [ __ ] sucks anyway uh , Assassin's Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids expansion Hit and it seems to have gone down fairly well with critics sitting on metacritic pc invasion in the mid 70's ending up at 80 points and saying quote although there are a few minor issues thanks to a luscious and living lands to explore while PC Mag was rated slightly more critical at 60 said quote Anger is good if you're hungry for more Valhalla I'm not but the new features add minimal to the experience on this one DLC won't make many converts. The most exciting release of the last week was the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, a remaster of the classic trilogy, now playable at 4k 60fps on current gaming consoles, as currently the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is the second highest-grossing game of the year on Metacritic after the Disco Elysium Final Cut reviews point to a solid job of refreshing the visuals and tweaking a few mechanics here and there, but the bulk of the scoring comes from the fact that all these years later, the mass effect remains an unmatched masterpiece throughout in its genre and one of the best sci-fi properties in any medium, with bioware taking another hit at a new mass effects sequel, the legendary edition seems to have just upped the ante for it, but again no pressure guys, and finally everyone seems enough I am satisfied with sub-zero Subnautica, but there is consensus there over that it's a lot less breakthrough and ambitious than its 90 point predecessor ign and says sub zero quote Subnautica is a leaner, meaner standalone expansion to Subnautica that improves on the story and mechanics, but nothing gets us as much space
